DESCRIPTION
A series of maritime charts from the early 1700s showing highly detailed navigation information of the coasts of India for the benefit of mariners. These were compiled by Samuel Thornton, Hydrographer to the East India Company although the credit should mostly go to his father John Thornton, who had succeeded John Seller as the most notable of the chart makers in London. Upon his death in 1708, Thornton willed his charts, copper plates, instruments, and 'all things belonging to my calling' to his son, Samuel Thornton, who continued to republished his father's work, with few updates, until about 1715.

DETAILS
This map has been meticulously reproduced on high grade canvas. The canvas in the "Without Frame" option comes with a white border in case you wish to frame it later. If you have selected the "With Frame" option, this piece will be set behind glass, and held together by a solid wood black frame. Mounting hardware will also be included in the latter option.

B. Dust it with a clean soft rag to avoid dust buildup
C. Avoid placing sharp objects next to it.
D. Canvas art should not be framed with glass as it needs to breathe.
E. Do not use a damp cloth to clean or dust.

RETURNS
We take special care to ensure that your artwork reaches you in perfect condition. But in the rare event of any damage incurred during shipping, incorrect product delivery or size mismatch please notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence of the issue and we will initiate a replacement. For our customers outside India, the shipping charges for returning the item will be borne by the customer. Returns or exchanges in any other case will not be possible.
DELIVERY
For any delivery related issues or if your order is not delivered within:
1. 10 days of order placement (for unframed items)
2. 20 days of order placement (for framed orders) and
3. 5 weeks of order placement (for handmade items)

For our customers outside India, Customs Duty & any other applicable tax may apply at the time of delivery depending on the laws of your country. The prices shown on our website do not cover these charges. Please refer to the customs portal of your country to know the exact charges, if any.
